ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST CHECK IN AT THE PROJECT ALICE VR-PLEX 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR SHOWING. PARTICIPANTS SHOWING AFTER THEIR TICKET TIME WILL BE REFUSED ENTYRY. NO EXCEPTIONS. PLEASE BE ON TIME.
THE PROJECT ALICE VR-PLEX IS A HIGH TECH SYSTEM WHICH MAY OCCASIONALLY NEED MAINTENANCE CAUSING SHOWS TO BE CANCELED OR DELAYED. WE WILL ATTEMPT TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY TO ACCOMMODATE YOU BUT UNFORTUNATELY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THIS IN ADVANCE.
HEALTH & SAFETY WARNINGS:
All participants of Project Alice VR-Plex experiences must carefully read the warnings below and agree to them before purchasing tickets to reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort or property damage.
All warnings apply to both direct purchasers as well as indirect buyers of tickets such as those acquiring tickets to give to other people. If giving or purchasing tickets on someone else's behalf you agree to provide them with the following warnings.
Participation in Project Alice VR-Plex experiences is entirely at the participant's risk to the extent of local laws and regulations. You will need to agree to this before purchasing and/or acquiring any Project Alice VR-Plex experience tickets.
Introduction
Virtual reality is not suitable for everyone and if you have any doubt whether you are suitable for virtual reality, please consult your Doctor.
In general, we do not recommend individuals who are pregnant, have high blood pressure, suffer from motion sickness, inner ear infections or claustrophobia, had any form of recent surgery, pre-existing binocular vision abnormalities, heart conditions or epileptic symptoms to experience any type of virtual reality including participation in Project Alice VR-Plex experiences.
People who wear an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker should consult with a medical practitioner prior to participating in Project Alice VR-Plex experiences as the sensors used in our system emit radio and magnetic waves which could interfere with the normal operations of such devices.
Those who have ever, or currently live with symptoms of epilepsy such as severe dizziness, blackouts, seizures or loss of awareness, should see a doctor before participating in Project Alice VR-Plex experiences. The content viewed during Project Alice VR-Plex experiences may include flashing images and repetitive sequences which, for a small portion of people, could cause seizures, even in those who have never experienced seizures in the past.
Please allow for a minimum of 30 minutes after participating in Project Alice VR-Plex experiences before operating any machinery.
Minors
It is the responsibility of an adults supervisor to monitor the participation of children in Project Alice VR-Plex experiences (age 13 and older). Project Alice VR-Plex experiences are not allowed for participation by individuals below the age of 13.
Safe use
When participating in Project Alice VR-Plex experiences, your vision is 100% obscured and when using headphones, your capacity to hear what is happening in your surroundings is reduced. Therefore, it is important that you restrain yourself from erratic and wild movements. Please listen to the Project Alice VR-Plex attendant instructions at all times. Participants who do not follow these rules will be expelled from the facility. IF AT ANY POINT IN TIME YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL OR NEED ASSISTANCE, RAISE YOUR HAND UP AND AN ATTENDANT WILL IMMEDIATELY ASSIST YOU.
You will be denied entry into the Project Alice VR-Plex if you:
Are under the influence of drugs including alcohol; Suffering the after effects of using drugs including alcohol
Do not participate in Project Alice VR-Plex experiences if you:
Are Suffering a gastric illness or virus; Suffering from stress or are over-tired.
Content and Software
With the exception of Noitom produced content, Noitom accepts no responsibility for risk associated with third party content.
To avoid visual conflict and visually triggered symptoms such as headaches and nausea, ensure that your head mounted display is properly aligned with your eyes.
Stop use immediately if you experience:
Seizures; loss of awareness; eye strain; eye or muscle twitching; involuntary movements; altered, blurred, or double vision or other visual abnormalities; dizziness; disorientation; impaired balance; impaired hand-eye coordination; excessive sweating; increased salivation; nausea; lightheadedness; discomfort or pain in the head or eyes; drowsiness; fatigue; or any symptoms similar to motion sickness.
Do not drive, operate machinery, or engage in other visually or physically demanding activities that have potentially serious consequences (i.e., activities in which experiencing any symptoms could lead to death, personal injury, or damage to property), or other activities that require unimpaired balance and hand-eye coordination (such as playing sports or riding a bicycle, etc.) until you have fully recovered from any symptoms.
